Teens Speak Out Research Snapshot
This new research series from CSS aims to capture the opinions of adolescents regarding current events through short surveys with research questions pulled from the headlines.
When teens have the opportunity to share their perspectives they usually have important things to contribute.
In an effort to bridge the divide between adults and younger generations on the issue of social media and adolescent mental health, for our first Teens Speak Out Research Snapshot, we conducted a study to capture the valuable insights of young people on three major policy developments: Utah's new parental consent regulations for social media usage, and the TikTok ban in Montana, and the Surgeon General's advisory on social media.
We went directly to 184 teens from across the United States to ask them what they think about the laws that are being passed around the country.
