As we work to bridge the gap between scholars and storytellers to support positive youth development. we wanted to let you know about an opportunity to join other health education efforts around the country.
National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW), coordinated by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, is a week-long health observance dedicated to providing youth with the science-based facts about how drugs and alcohol affect the brain, body, and behavior.
CSS encourages you to plan educational activities for youth in your community in recognition of NDAFW. It's easy to get involved! Register online to link up with activities and events happening across the country and around the world during the week of March 30 to April 5, 2020.
Need help getting started? Here are five steps to hosting an NDAFW event.
NIDA staff are available to help you plan a successful event. If you have questions about NDAFW, please contact Brian Marquis at bmarquis@nida.nih.gov.
